Hosted Jurassic Chilean King Trips
I am excited to offer you an unforgettable experience with our Hosted Jurassic Chilean King trips. We have two available date options: April 6th-12th or April 13th-19th, 2025. The total cost of the trip is $7,000, with a $3,500 deposit required to secure your spot.
Itinerary:
- Day 1: Fly to Santiago then take a short flight (less than 2 hours) to Puerto Montt where the caravan will pick us up to take us to the Lodge. We'll get checked in, fed, and settled for the evening.
- Day 2 through Day 5: Fishing! Depending on tides and the best bite windows, we'll start the morning with breakfast at the lodge, have lunches on the water, and return for dinner in the evening.
- Day 6 (Saturday): Depart from Puerto Montt.
Payment Terms:
- A 50% deposit ($3,500) is required to hold your spot. This deposit is non-refundable.
- The final payment is due 90 days before the trip.
- Refunds are only possible if your spot can be filled by someone else.
Facilities and Amenities:
- Petrohué River location equipped with all necessary fishing gear and boats, specifically 18’ Smoker Crafts. Personal gear is welcome.
- Accommodates 2 anglers per guide, with potential flexibility.
- Fishing schedules are determined by solar-lunar calendars to maximize catch opportunities.
- Luxury lodging with amenities such as wood-fired heating, saunas, massages, and more.
Unique Fishing Opportunities:
- Specialty fishing trips for king trolling in the estuary and offshore trolling for species like Sierra mackerel and salmon.
- Fish range from 30-50 lbs, with some exceeding 70+ lbs.
- Diverse fish species in the rivers, including sea-run browns, Atlantic salmon, and cutthroat (catch-and-release for certain species due to regulations).
- Options to fish upriver with various techniques.
Fly Fishing:
- Mainly boat-based fly fishing on the Petrohué, with jet boats, drift boats, or rafts.
- Walk-in wade fly fishing trips available in San Antonio Creek for trout.
- Opportunity to fly fish for kings.

Hosted Trip: Togiak River Lodge Experience
Join us for an unforgettable adventure at the Togiak River Lodge, located in Northern Bristol Bay, 350 miles southwest of Anchorage. This all-inclusive salmon and trout fishing experience offers world-class fishing opportunities in a remote Alaskan wilderness setting.
Itinerary:
- Day 1: Fly from Anchorage to Togiak on a chartered jet (included in the trip price) between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and transported upstream to the lodge via boat. After getting settled in and enjoying lunch, you'll spend the rest of the day fishing until 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM.
- Days 2-5:
- Start the day with breakfast at 7:30 AM.
- Head out on the water after eating.
- Fish until noon and return to the lodge for lunch, or opt for a sack lunch and stay on the river.
- Continue fishing until 5:00 PM, then return to the lodge to clean up and relax before dinner at 6:00 PM.
- Day 6: Enjoy breakfast at 7:00 AM before heading back to Togiak by boat to board the chartered jet for your return to Anchorage.
